Saw the movie on Friday. The trailers were awesome and built up the anticipation. But this changes when you watch the movie.
For starters, the story is not very solid. Here you have a super advanced race, the kryptonians. Their planet is about to blow up. What do these geniuses do? They take the criminals, pack them in spaceships and evacuate them safely so when the planet blows up the prison becomes disabled and the ship can be retrofitted to go anywhere to conquer other planets. (duuhhhh?)
The main actor makes a good superman. General Zod makes a very good villain along
