There was a loud bang, and followed by numerous smaller and more frequent bangs, much like fireworks being launched and detonating, but it was daytime. No more than thirty minutes after mid day. The sun baked a lush grass filled valley and no clouds obscured the sky.
She fell to the ground with a crash, although still appeared breathing as she tried pushing herself up. Her clothes were near ragged, but they covered her body, and showed little skin. She wore a violet dress, tightly fitting, and looked as if she had attended a formal event. Make up, nail varnish, even a wristlet corsage; all things that had been dirtied by the fall. Mud covered her, and as she tried to stand on her arms, she found a lack of energy, and quickly dropped to the floor, passed out on the ground. Her hazel eyes looked through gaps of raven black hair at the surroundings, but the blue sky and green fields faded to black.
